Ruddy Type Specimen Book is a typographic project designed to showcase the personality and flexibility of the Ruddy typeface through both print and digital formats. In addition to the physical book, an interactive online eBook was created with motion and subtle animations to enhance the reading experience. The project explores how typography can feel dynamic and expressive when combined with layout, pacing, and movement.

Ruddy is an expressive typeface with multiple weights and styles that balance character and readability. Its organic strokes and playful details give the type a warm, energetic tone, while its structured forms allow it to function effectively in both display and text settings. Ruddy’s versatility makes it suitable for editorial layouts, branding, and digital experiences.
Visual Collection
This visual series presents a curated selection of Korean alcoholic beverages paired with traditional food imagery and symbolic backgrounds. Each composition blends product-focused visuals with cultural motifs, using color, texture, and illustration to highlight the identity and atmosphere of each drink.
EBOOK EXPERIENCE
The online eBook version of the Ruddy type specimen was designed as an animated, interactive experience rather than a static document. Motion was used to guide viewers through the type system, highlight transitions between sections, and emphasize typographic details such as weight changes and hierarchy. Subtle animations bring the type to life, reinforcing Ruddy’s energetic personality.
