Project Overview
This project reimagines classic Disney-style characters through a Korean cultural lens. By blending familiar fairytale narratives with Korean traditions, clothing, and settings, the project explores how global pop culture can be localized into visually rich and culturally meaningful content.
The Challenge
The challenge was to reinterpret globally recognized Disney-inspired visuals while respectfully integrating Korean cultural elements. The goal was to balance fantasy and authenticity without losing the emotional familiarity of the original characters.

Design Process
I began by researching Korean folklore, traditional architecture, and modern hanbok silhouettes. I then translated these elements into illustrative scenes, focusing on color, composition, and storytelling to create visuals that feel magical yet culturally grounded.
